We are building a vibrant Likewise Open community and always welcome new participation from Likewise Open users, administrators, and developers. There are many ways to participate. You can discuss Likewise Open topics with other users and administrators on one of the project mailing lists submit defect reports via our Bugzilla server or download the source code and make your own modifications. Report BugsYou can help improve Likewise Open by finding and reporting bugs. We track bugs using, Bugzilla, for both Likewise Open and Likewise Enterprise. If you have questions about writing bug reports, please read the instructions for submitting a bug to learn what information will be most helpful. Develop PatchesProgrammers can participate in the development of Likewise Open by submitting a patch as a suggested solution to an existing bug in Bugzilla. Obtaining the Source CodeLikewise Open is maintained in a git repository hosted at git://git.likewisesoftware.com/. Because of the use of the git-submodule feature, you will need need to install git v1.5.3 or later. More information on installing and using git can be found at: http://git.or.cz/. We require, too, that patches submitted to Likewise Open not infringe on any known patents.
